RUMAR

RUMAR is a Portuguese world-music project created by multi-instrumentalist and composer Rui Martins.

Through the concert experience Around the World in 80 Minutes, RUMAR brings together ancestral instruments and contemporary ambient textures in an immersive journey across cultures, sound and inner landscapes.

His performances weave sitar, Portuguese guitar, guzheng, saz, kora, khim, kalimba, jaw harp, Tibetan singing bowls, percussion and harmonic singing. Each concert is an invitation to listen deeply, travel without borders and reconnect through music.

Based in Cascais, Portugal, RUMAR performs at festivals, cultural venues, retreats and intimate events in Portugal and internationally.
