RUMAR

RUMAR is a self-taught musician and composer who explores new sonic horizons through instruments from diverse world cultures. His performances create an introspective and timeless journey, guiding the audience into a state of deep listening and inner connection.

Each concert weaves together the organic tones of ancestral instruments from Europe, Asia, Africa and South America, including Tibetan Singing Bowls, Guzheng, Sitar, Khim, Kalimba, Jaw Harp, Portuguese Guitar, Kora and Saz.

Every instrument becomes a portal — and every sound an invitation to travel within.

In addition to his solo work, RUMAR is part of OCO, an artistic collective that has performed across Europe in festivals and venues in Germany, Spain, France, Hungary, and Portugal.

As a fado guitarist, he has represented Portuguese music internationally, performing in Dubai, for Portuguese communities in the United States and Canada, and in Panjim, Goa (India).
